- 🍗 1 piece (250g) chicken thigh
Seasoning
- 1 tsp sake (for marinating)
- 🧂 1 tsp soy sauce (for marinating)
- 1 tsp chopped wasabi
Coating
- As needed all-purpose flour
Cooking Oil
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
ÉTAPES
Cut the chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces and place in a bowl. Add sake, soy sauce, and chopped wasabi, then massage the mixture into the chicken and let it sit for 2-3 minutes.
Lightly coat the marinated chicken pieces with all-purpose flour.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the chicken pieces skin-side down and cook until golden brown. Flip and cook until fully cooked through.
Add sake, mirin, sugar, and soy sauce to the pan and stir to coat the chicken evenly.
Serve the chicken on a plate and garnish with additional chopped wasabi (optional).
