INGRÉDIENTS
Eggs
- 🥚 3 eggs
Seafood
- 3 tbsp chirimen jako
Vegetables
- 🧅 1 tbsp chopped green onion
Oil
- As needed salad oil
Seasoning
- 💧 1 tbsp water
- 🧂 A pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp soy sauce
- 1/3 tsp dashi powder
ÉTAPES
Crack eggs into a bowl and mix gently to break the whites. Add seasoning ingredients (water, salt, soy sauce, dashi powder) and mix well. Add chirimen jako and green onion, then mix to combine.
Heat a tamagoyaki pan over medium heat and lightly coat with salad oil using a paper towel. Pour one ladle of egg mixture into the pan. When semi-cooked, roll the egg towards you and push it to the back of the pan.
Repeat the process: lightly coat the pan with oil, pour another ladle of egg mixture, and roll it over the previous layer. Continue until all egg mixture is used.
Wrap the rolled egg in paper towels to shape it and let it cool. Slice into bite-sized pieces before serving.
