INGRÉDIENTS

- 2 slices bacon
Vegetables
- 🌽 1/2 cob corn (150g)
- 4 okra (40g)
Liquid
- 💧 400cc water
Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp consommé
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- Pinch of pepper
ÉTAPES
Cut the corn kernels off the cob by standing it vertically and slicing downward along the cob. Rub okra with a pinch of salt, rinse, and dry. Remove the stems and caps, then slice into 1cm pieces.
Cut the bacon into 1cm wide strips.
Place the corn cob and water in a pot. Heat over medium heat until it boils, then cover and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes. Remove the cob.
Add the corn kernels, okra, bacon, and seasonings (consommé, salt, and pepper) to the pot. Simmer for about 3 minutes until the bacon is cooked through.
