INGRÉDIENTS
Main
- 🍗 1 chicken breast (250g), skinless
- 50g unsweetened corn flakes
- 1 1/2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- Enough vegetable oil for frying
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 🧄 1 tsp grated garlic
Sauce
- Tonkatsu sauce, as needed
ÉTAPES
Pound the chicken breast to about 1cm thickness using a rolling pin, then cut into bite-sized pieces. Marinate the chicken in a bag with sake, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic for 10 minutes.
Place corn flakes in a plastic bag and crush them finely using a rolling pin.
Drain the chicken pieces and coat them with all-purpose flour.
Dip the chicken pieces into the crushed corn flakes, ensuring they are fully coated.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan to 170°C (340°F). Fry the chicken pieces for about 5 minutes until golden brown. Serve with tonkatsu sauce.
