- 🐟 140g horse mackerel fillets
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp potato starch
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
Sauce
- 🥒 20g soy sauce pickled cucumber
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1/3 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tsp sesame oil
ÉTAPES
Cut the horse mackerel fillets in half and pat dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper, then coat with potato starch.
In a bowl, mix the soy sauce pickled cucumber with sugar, vinegar, grated ginger, and sesame oil to make the crispy cucumber sauce.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the horse mackerel fillets, flipping occasionally, until both sides are golden brown, about 4 minutes.
Plate the fried horse mackerel and drizzle the crispy cucumber sauce over the top.
