- 🐟 1 whole mackerel, deboned
- 1 cup rice water
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 cup chopped paprika
- 🧅 1/2 cup chopped onion
Seasonings

- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1.5 tbsp corn syrup
- 🧂 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
ÉTAPES
Debone the mackerel and soak it briefly in rice water to remove any fishy smell.
Cut the mackerel into bite-sized pieces and coat them evenly with cornstarch in a plastic bag.
Heat cooking oil in a pan and fry the mackerel pieces until golden and crispy.
Chop paprika and onion finely, then sauté them with minced garlic until fragrant.
Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and corn syrup to the sautéed vegetables and bring to a simmer.
Add the fried mackerel to the sauce and toss to coat evenly. Sprinkle sugar and mix well.
