- 🧂 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp corn syrup
- 🧂 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
ÉTAPES
Cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes.
Place the tofu on a kitchen towel to remove excess moisture.
Coat the tofu with frying flour using a plastic bag for even coverage.
Pan-fry the tofu in a skillet with a moderate amount of oil until golden and crispy.
Prepare the sauce by mixing ketchup, sugar, corn syrup, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a bowl.
Remove the fried tofu and place it on a kitchen towel to drain excess oil.
Heat the sauce in a pan until it starts to bubble, then turn off the heat.
Add the tofu to the pan with the sauce and mix until evenly coated.
Garnish with sesame seeds if desired and serve.
