Slice the daikon into thin pieces. Rehydrate the dried wakame in water and drain. Wipe excess oil from the fried tofu, cut it in half horizontally, then slice into 1cm strips.

In a pot, heat water and Japanese dashi granules until boiling. Add the daikon, cover, and simmer on low heat for about 4 minutes. Then add the fried tofu and wakame, cooking for another 1-2 minutes.

Dissolve miso into the soup and heat briefly. Do not boil after adding miso to retain its flavor.
