INGRÉDIENTS
Vegetable
- 1/3 daikon radish (about 300g)
- 2 shiso leaves
Dry Ingredients
- 80g all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp dashi powder
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tbsp ponzu sauce
Garnish
- Ponzu sauce to taste
- Shiso leaves to taste
ÉTAPES
Finely chop the shiso leaves and grate the daikon radish. Lightly squeeze out excess water from the grated daikon.
In a bowl, mix the grated daikon, chopped shiso, flour, soy sauce, and dashi powder. Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions.
Heat sesame oil in a frying pan. Scoop the mixture with a spoon, place it in the pan, and flatten it. Cook over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
Serve on a plate and drizzle with ponzu sauce. Garnish with additional shiso leaves if desired.
