INGRÉDIENTS
Meat
- 200g ground meat
Vegetables
- 🍆 2 eggplants
- 🧅 1/2 onion
- 🧄 1 clove garlic
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/3 tsp consomme
- Pinch of pepper
Cheese
- 80g pizza cheese
Herbs
- Pinch of chopped parsley
ÉTAPES
Slice the eggplants into 1cm rounds, remove the stems, and soak in water. Drain and chop the onion and garlic finely.
Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a pan, add the eggplants, and cook over medium heat until browned on both sides. Sprinkle with salt and set aside.
Add 1 tbsp olive oil and garlic to the same pan, heat on low until fragrant, then add ground meat and cook over medium heat until browned. Add onions and cook until translucent.
Add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, consomme, salt, and pepper to the pan. Simmer for 2 minutes to make the meat sauce.
Layer 1/3 of the meat sauce in a baking dish, followed by half the eggplants and half the pizza cheese. Repeat with remaining meat sauce, eggplants, and cheese.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 20 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
