INGRÉDIENTS
Rice
- 🍚 2 cups rice
Vegetables
- 🍆 2 eggplants
- 🧄 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 bunch chives, chopped
Meat
- 150g minced pork
Oil
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
Seasoning for Meat
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 2 tsp soy sauce
Seasoning for Rice
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 🧂 A pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 tbsp miso
- 💧 As needed water
ÉTAPES
Cut off the stems of the eggplants, slice them in half lengthwise, and then into 5mm slices.
Mix the eggplant slices with sesame oil in a bowl.
Mince the garlic and chop the chives into 1cm pieces.
In another bowl, mix the minced pork, garlic, and the seasoning for meat (sake and soy sauce).
In the rice cooker pot, add the rice and the seasoning for rice (mirin, salt, miso, and water).
Add water slightly below the 2-cup mark and stir until the miso is fully dissolved.
Add the eggplant mixture and the pork mixture to the rice cooker, spreading them evenly.
Cook the rice as usual. Once cooked, add the chopped chives and mix well.
