INGRÉDIENTS
Egg
- 🥚 2 soft-boiled eggs
- 🌾 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 🥚 1 egg
- 🍞 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
- Vegetable oil, as needed
Meat Mixture
- 🥩 150g ground beef and pork mix
- 🧅 1/4 onion, minced
- 🌿 1/4 bunch cilantro, minced
- 1 tsp fish sauce
- 1/2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 🧄 1/2 tsp grated garlic
- 1 tbsp potato starch
ÉTAPES
Mince the onion and place it in a microwave-safe container. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 30 seconds. Mince the cilantro after removing the roots.
Coat the soft-boiled eggs with 1 tbsp of all-purpose flour. Beat the egg in a bowl and mix well.
In another bowl, combine all the meat mixture ingredients and mix until sticky. Divide into two portions and shape around the soft-boiled eggs.
Coat the shaped meat-wrapped eggs with the remaining 1 tbsp of flour, dip in the beaten egg, and then coat with breadcrumbs.
Heat vegetable oil in a pot to 160°C (320°F). Fry the coated eggs until the surface sets, then roll them around for 5–6 minutes until the meat is cooked. Increase the heat to 170°C (340°F) and fry for an additional 1–2 minutes.
