INGRÉDIENTS
Main
- 🍚 1 bowl cooked rice (200g)
- 🍗 120g chicken thigh
- 🥚 2 eggs, beaten
- 🧅 1/4 onion, sliced
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 💧 3 tbsp water
Garnish
- 🌱 Chopped green onion, a pinch
ÉTAPES
Slice the onion thinly.
Trim excess fat from the chicken and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Heat the seasoning ingredients in a pan over medium heat until boiling, then add onion and chicken. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes on low-medium heat until the chicken is cooked and onion softens.
Uncover, increase to medium heat, and spoon the broth over the ingredients until reduced. Pour 2/3 of the beaten eggs over the mixture, cover, and cook for 1 minute.
Add the remaining egg, cover, and cook for 10 seconds.
Serve the mixture over a bowl of rice and garnish with chopped green onion.
