Bread
- 🍞 4 slices sandwich bread
Meat
- 🍖 100g ground meat
Herbs
- 🌿 4 fresh basil leaves
Cheese
- 🧀 2 slices melting cheese
Oil
- 1 tsp salad oil
- sufficient salad oil for frying
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1/2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 🍅 1 tbsp ketchup
ÉTAPES
Heat 1 tsp salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add ground meat and cook until browned. Add sake, Worcestershire sauce, and ketchup, then stir-fry until the liquid evaporates to create a meat sauce.
Place a slice of melting cheese in the center of a sandwich bread slice. Add half of the meat sauce on top, followed by 2 basil leaves. Cover with another slice of sandwich bread and seal the edges using the tines of a fork. Repeat to make 2 sandwiches.
Heat about 3 cm of salad oil in a pot to 180°C. Fry the sandwiches until both sides are golden brown. Let them cool slightly before cutting in half.
