Cut the chives into 4cm pieces, slice the garlic, and chop the Chinese cabbage into bite-sized pieces.

In a bowl, mix all soup seasoning ingredients except water. Add water and stir to combine.

Add the soup and garlic to a frying pan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Add bean sprouts, Chinese cabbage, pork slices, and kimchi. Cover and simmer on low heat for 8–10 minutes until the pork is cooked.

Remove the lid, sprinkle chives, drizzle sesame oil, and top with ground sesame seeds before serving.
