INGRÉDIENTS
Base
- 🍚 2 bowls of warm rice (300g)
Protein
- 🐟 2 slices of yellowtail fillet
Vegetables
- 🧄 1 clove of garlic, sliced
- 🌱 1/2 bunch of chives
- 🥕 1/2 carrot, julienned
Seasoning
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
ÉTAPES
Cut the yellowtail into bite-sized pieces. Slice the garlic thinly. Cut the chives into manageable lengths and julienne the carrot.
Heat half of the sesame oil (1 tbsp) in a frying pan over low heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add the chives and carrot, stir-fry over medium heat until softened, season with salt and pepper, then remove from the pan.
In the same pan, heat the remaining sesame oil (1 tbsp) over medium heat. Add the yellowtail and cook until browned.
Flip the yellowtail, cook until fully done, then add the sauce ingredients (sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil) and coat the fish. Serve the rice in bowls, top with the stir-fried vegetables and yellowtail, and drizzle the remaining sauce from the pan.
