- 200g thinly sliced pork
Vegetables
- 100g maitake mushrooms
- 200g lotus root, sliced
- 🧄 1 clove garlic, sliced
- Chopped green onion, as needed
Oil
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1 tsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- Pinch of black pepper
ÉTAPES
Break maitake mushrooms into bite-sized pieces. Slice lotus root into half-moon shapes and soak in water to remove excess starch. Slice garlic thinly and remove the core.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over low heat, add garlic, and cook until fragrant. Add pork and stir-fry over medium heat until the pork changes color.
Add maitake mushrooms and lotus root, stir-fry for 1–2 minutes, then cover and steam over low heat for 2 minutes.
Add the seasoning mixture (sake, sugar, soy sauce, black pepper) and stir-fry over medium heat until well combined.
Plate the dish and garnish with chopped green onion.
