- 🐟 2 sardines, cleaned
Vegetables
- 🧄 1 clove garlic, sliced
- 1 chili, deseeded
Seasoning
- 200cc water
- 50cc vinegar
- 2 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧄 1/2 tsp grated garlic
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
ÉTAPES
Prepare the sardines by removing the tails and cutting them in half. Slice the garlic and remove its core. Deseed the chili.
Mix all the ingredients for the simmering sauce in a pot.
Bring the sauce to a boil over medium heat, then add the sardines, garlic, and chili. Cover with a drop lid and simmer on low heat for 20–30 minutes until the liquid reduces by half.
