INGRÉDIENTS
Vegetables
- 1/2 stick of burdock (100g)
- 🧅 1/2 onion, sliced
- Chopped green onion, as needed
Meat
- 150g thinly sliced pork
Eggs
- 🥚 2 eggs
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp Japanese dashi granules
- 💧 200cc water
ÉTAPES
Shave the burdock into thin slices and soak in water to remove bitterness, then drain. Slice the onion thinly.
Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat lightly.
Add the seasoning mixture (sake, sugar, soy sauce, dashi, and water) to a frying pan and bring to a boil.
Add burdock, onion, and pork to the pan. Skim off any foam and simmer for about 3 minutes over medium heat until cooked.
Pour the beaten eggs over the mixture, cover with a lid, and cook until the eggs are semi-set. Serve in a dish and garnish with chopped green onion.
