Rice
- 🍚 1 cup soaked rice
Vegetables
- 100g boiled bamboo shoot
Meat
- 🥩 100g sliced beef
Oil
- 1 tsp salad oil
Seasoning
- 🧂 2 tsp soy sauce
- 💧 sufficient water
- sufficient kinome leaves
Additional Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🧂 a pinch of salt
- a pinch of Japanese dashi powder
ÉTAPES
Cut the bamboo shoot into bite-sized pieces.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add bamboo shoot and cook until browned. Add beef and stir-fry until its color changes. Push to the side, add soy sauce to the empty space, and stir until fragrant.
Place soaked rice in a rice cooker. Add the seasoning ingredients (sake, mirin, salt, dashi powder) and water up to the 1-cup mark. Flatten the rice and spread the bamboo shoot and beef mixture on top. Cook as usual.
Mix the cooked rice thoroughly, serve in bowls, and garnish with kinome leaves.
