INGRÉDIENTS
Vegetable
- 🥔 500g potatoes, peeled and chopped
Protein
- 🌭 9 sausages, halved
Cheese / Dairy
- 🧀 6 slices of melting cheese
Oil
- Enough salad oil for frying
Condiment
- 🍅 Ketchup for serving
Seasoning
- 🧂 A pinch of salt and pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
ÉTAPES
Peel and chop the potatoes into bite-sized pieces. Soak them in water for 5 minutes, then drain. Place in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 8 minutes.
Cut the sausages in half and divide the cheese slices into thirds. Place a sausage piece on a cheese slice and roll it up.
Mash the heated potatoes with a fork while still hot. Add the seasoning ingredients (salt, pepper, parsley, and flour) and mix well.
Wrap the sausage-cheese rolls with the mashed potato mixture and shape into balls.
Heat 2cm of salad oil in a frying pan to 170°C. Fry the potato balls until golden brown. Serve with ketchup.
