- 🥔 450g potatoes, peeled and diced
Seasoning
- 🧂 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/3 tsp consomme powder
Binding Agent
- 1 tbsp potato starch
Cooking Oil
- Enough salad oil for frying
ÉTAPES
Peel the potatoes and dice them into 5mm cubes.
Place the diced potatoes and 1 tbsp water in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 5 minutes.
While hot, mix the potatoes with salt and consomme powder. Add potato starch and mash lightly until combined. Cool the mixture and shape into 4 oval patties, about 1cm thick.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan to 170°C, ensuring about 1cm depth. Fry the patties until golden and crispy on both sides.
