INGRÉDIENTS
Meat
- 150g minced pork
Vegetables
- 300g hayato squash, peeled and sliced
- 4 slices ginger
- Chopped green onion, as needed
Oil
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
Seasoning
- 150cc water
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/3 tsp chicken stock powder
Thickener
- 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tbsp water
ÉTAPES
Peel the hayato squash, cut in half, remove seeds, and slice into bite-sized pieces. Soak in water for 5 minutes and drain. Slice the ginger into thin strips.
Heat salad oil in a pot over medium heat. Add minced pork and stir-fry until the color changes. Add hayato squash and ginger, and stir-fry until coated with oil.
Add the seasoning ingredients (water, sake, mirin, soy sauce, chicken stock powder) and mix. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes until the squash softens.
Turn off the heat, add the cornstarch slurry (cornstarch and water), and mix. Heat over medium heat until thickened.
Serve on a plate and garnish with chopped green onion.
