    • 150g pancake mix
    • 💧 60cc water
  • Filling

    • 200g hanpen (2 pieces)
    • 1 tbsp dried hijiki
    • 🐟 70g canned tuna in oil
    • 🌽 3 tbsp canned corn
    • 🍬 1 tsp sugar
    • 1/2 tbsp miso
    • 🌰 2 tbsp white sesame seeds

    • 1 tbsp salad oil

Soak dried hijiki in a bowl with plenty of water until rehydrated, then drain thoroughly.

Place hanpen in a plastic bag, tear it into pieces, and knead until smooth. Add the remaining filling ingredients and mix well.

In a bowl, mix pancake mix and water to form the dough. Divide into 4 portions and roll each into a thin circle about 10cm in diameter.

Place 1/4 of the filling onto each dough circle, wrap it, and gently press into a flat round shape. Repeat for all portions.

Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium-low heat. Place the oyaki in the pan and cook until golden brown on one side. Flip, add 2 tbsp of water, cover, and steam on low heat for 5 minutes. Remove the lid and cook on medium heat until browned.
