Beef
- 🥩 2 slices of beef steak (160g)
- 🧂 A pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tsp salad oil
Tomato Pilaf
- 🍚 2 cups washed rice
- 🍅 1 tomato, diced
- 🧅 1/4 onion, minced
- 🍄 3 mushrooms, sliced
- 🧂 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp consomme
- 2 tbsp white wine
- Water as needed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Garnish
- 🧂 A pinch of black pepper
ÉTAPES
Dice the tomato into 1cm cubes, mince the onion, and slice the mushrooms thinly.
In a rice cooker, combine washed rice, salt, consomme, white wine, and water slightly below the 2-cup mark. Add tomato, onion, and mushrooms, level the ingredients, drizzle olive oil, and cook as usual. Mix gently after cooking.
Bring beef to room temperature for 10 minutes and season with salt and pepper.
Heat salad oil in a skillet, sear beef on high heat for 1 minute per side. Wrap in foil and let cool before slicing.
Serve the tomato pilaf in the same skillet, top with sliced beef, and sprinkle black pepper.
