INGRÉDIENTS

- 🍚 2 cups rice
Protein
- 🍗 125g chicken thigh, diced
- 🌭 3 sausages, sliced
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 onion, minced
- 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
- 🧄 1 clove garlic, minced
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 10g Cajun spice
- 🧂 1/2 tsp salt
- 💧 380ml water
Garnish
- 🌿 Chopped parsley, to taste
- 🍋 4 lemon wedges
ÉTAPES
Mince the onion, dice the red bell pepper, and mince the garlic after removing its core.
Dice the chicken thigh into 1cm cubes and season with salt and pepper. Slice the sausages into 1cm pieces.
Heat olive oil in a pan over low heat, add garlic, and sauté until fragrant. Add onion and cook until translucent. Add chicken, sausage, and red bell pepper, cooking until the meat changes color. Add rice and stir until the grains become translucent.
Add Cajun spice and mix well. Add salt and water, stir, and flatten the mixture. Bring to a boil, stir once, flatten again, and cover. Cook on low heat for 12 minutes.
Turn off the heat and let the dish steam for 10 minutes. Fluff the rice, serve on plates, garnish with parsley, and add lemon wedges.
