INGRÉDIENTS
Fish
- 🐟 200g yellowtail fillet
Oil
- Enough salad oil for frying
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 🧄 1/2 tsp grated garlic
- 1 tsp curry powder
- A pinch of pepper
Batter
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- 1 tsp curry powder
ÉTAPES
Pat the yellowtail fillets dry with a paper towel and cut them into bite-sized pieces.
Mix the seasoning ingredients (sake, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, curry powder, and pepper) in a bowl. Add the yellowtail pieces and marinate for 10 minutes. Pat dry with a paper towel.
In a separate bowl, mix the batter ingredients (flour, potato starch, and curry powder). Coat the marinated yellowtail pieces evenly with the batter.
Heat about 2cm of salad oil in a frying pan to 170°C. Fry the coated yellowtail pieces for about 2 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown.
