Main Ingredients
- 200g chopped Chikuzen-ni
- 300g ground meat mix
- 4 tbsp fresh breadcrumbs
- 🥛 2 tbsp milk
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp salad oil
- 🧅 Chopped green onion as needed
Sauce Ingredients
- 1 tbsp sake
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- Pinch of dashi powder
- 💧 2 tbsp water
ÉTAPES
Chop the Chikuzen-ni into small pieces.
Mix breadcrumbs and milk in a bowl, letting the milk soak in. Add ground meat, chopped Chikuzen-ni, and salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly and shape into 4 oval patties with a slight indentation in the center.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the patties and cook until browned. Flip, cover with a lid, and cook on low heat for 7–8 minutes until fully cooked. Remove from the pan.
In the same pan, add the sauce ingredients (sake, mirin, soy sauce, dashi powder, and water). Simmer on low heat while stirring until the sauce thickens.
Plate the patties, pour the sauce over them, and garnish with chopped green onions.
