- 🥒 2 cucumbers
- 🧅 1 chopped onion
- 🧄 2 tbsp minced garlic
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 🍬 2 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp vinegar
- A pinch of red pepper
- 1 tsp sesame oil
ÉTAPES
Wash the cucumbers thoroughly and remove both ends. Slice them thinly using chopsticks as a guide.
Cut the sliced cucumbers into thirds or quarters for easier handling.
Prepare saltwater and soak the cucumbers for 30 minutes until they become tender.
Drain the cucumbers and pat them dry with a kitchen towel. Mix chopped onion, minced garlic, and seasoning ingredients in a bowl.
Combine the cucumbers and the mixed seasoning in a ziplock bag and mix well.
Massage the bag gently to ensure the onion and garlic blend well with the cucumbers.
Let the salad sit at room temperature for 1 hour, then refrigerate before serving.
