Rice
- 🍚 2 bowls (400g) cooked rice
Meat
- 🥩 2 slices (180g) beef steak
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/2 onion (100g), sliced
- 🧅 Chopped green onions, as needed
Seasonings
- 🧂 Salt and pepper, as needed
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
- White sesame seeds, as needed
Sauce
- 2 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 🧈 10g salted butter
ÉTAPES
Let the beef sit at room temperature for 10 minutes. Season both sides with salt and pepper right before cooking.
Slice the onion thinly and soak in water for 5 minutes. Drain and squeeze out excess water.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over high heat. Cook the beef for 1 minute on each side. Turn off the heat, add the sauce ingredients, and coat the beef. Remove the beef, slice it, and simmer the remaining sauce over low heat.
Serve rice in a bowl, top with onions, steak slices, and drizzle with the sauce. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
