- 10 sheets spring roll wrappers
Meat
- 100g ground meat
Vegetables
- 🧅 1/4 onion, minced (50g)
Oil
- Enough salad oil for frying
Seasoning
- 🧂 1/3 tsp salt
- Pinch of pepper
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tbsp flour
Thickening
- 1 tbsp flour
- 💧 1 tbsp water
ÉTAPES
Mince the onion finely.
In a microwave-safe container, mix ground meat, minced onion, and seasoning ingredients. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 3 minutes until the meat is cooked. Stir and let cool (this is the meat sauce).
Fold spring roll wrappers into kabuto shapes, sealing edges with the flour-water mixture. Fill the pouch with equal portions of meat sauce and seal the opening with the flour-water mixture.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan to 170°C. Fry the kabuto meat pies, flipping occasionally, until golden brown (about 3–4 minutes).
