INGRÉDIENTS
Meat
- 🥩 8 slices pork belly
Staple
- 200g kakufu (Japanese wheat gluten)
Seasoning
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1/2 tbsp salad oil
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
ÉTAPES
Cut the kakufu into 8 equal pieces.
Season the pork belly slices with salt and pepper.
Place a piece of kakufu at the edge of each pork slice and roll tightly. Repeat for all 8 pieces.
Heat salad oil in a pan over medium heat. Place the rolls seam-side down and cook until browned. Cover and cook on low heat for 2 minutes.
Remove excess oil with a paper towel. Add sake, mirin, sugar, and soy sauce to the pan. Simmer and coat the rolls with the sauce until thickened.
