INGRÉDIENTS
Vegetables
- 100g burdock, thinly sliced
- 🥕 80g carrot, thinly sliced
Oil and Seeds
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tbsp white sesame seeds
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp sake
- 3 tbsp salted kombu
ÉTAPES
Scrape the skin off the burdock with the back of a knife, slice diagonally, then cut into thin strips. Soak in water and drain. Slice the carrot diagonally and cut into thin strips.
Heat sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add burdock and carrot, stir-fry for about 3 minutes until softened.
Add sake and salted kombu, mix well, cover with a lid, and steam over low heat for 3 minutes. Remove the lid and stir-fry over medium heat until the liquid evaporates. Turn off the heat and mix in white sesame seeds.
