- 🥟 20 dumplings
- 🧅 1/2 stalk green onion, chopped
- 🧅 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 red chili, chopped
- 1 green chili, chopped
- Generous amount of cooking oil
Sauce Ingredients
- 🍬 2 tbsp sugar
- 🍶 2 tbsp vinegar
- 🧂 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 🦪 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 🍅 1 tbsp ketchup
- 🧄 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 💧 1/2 cup water
ÉTAPES
Chop the green onion, onion, red chili, and green chili. If serving kids, replace chilies with bell peppers.
Mix sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, oyster sauce, ketchup, minced garlic, and water in a bowl to prepare the sauce.
Heat a generous amount of cooking oil in a pan and fry the dumplings until crispy.
Drain the fried dumplings on a strainer to remove excess oil.
Leave about 3 tbsp of the used oil in the pan and sauté the green onion until fragrant and golden.
Add the chopped onion, red chili, and green chili to the pan and stir-fry for 1 minute.
Pour the prepared sauce into the pan and bring it to a boil over high heat.
Cook the sauce until it thickens and becomes glossy.
Add the fried dumplings to the pan and toss quickly to coat them evenly with the sauce.
