INGRÉDIENTS
Main
- 🍚 1 cup soaked rice
- 10g aburaage (fried tofu)
- 🍄 50g maitake mushrooms
- 🥕 10g julienned carrot
- 2 tsp concentrated mentsuyu
- 💧 Water as needed
Finishing
- 🧈 10g salted butter
- 🌱 Chopped scallions for garnish
ÉTAPES
Separate maitake mushrooms into small clusters. Julienne the carrot.
Pat the aburaage with a paper towel to remove excess oil. Cut it in half horizontally, then slice into 1cm-wide strips.
In the rice cooker, add the soaked rice and mentsuyu. Add water up to the 1-cup mark, mix well, and level the rice. Place maitake, carrot, and aburaage on top evenly. Start the regular cooking cycle.
Once cooked, add butter and gently mix using a cutting motion. Serve in bowls and garnish with chopped scallions.
