Vegetables
- 3 manganji peppers
- 🥕 1/4 carrot
Meat
- 150g ground pork
Condiments
- 2 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp salad oil
Seasonings
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 💧 200cc water
Thickening Agent
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- 💧 1 tbsp water
ÉTAPES
Pierce the manganji peppers with a fork in several places. Cut the carrot into bite-sized pieces.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add ground pork and grated ginger, and stir-fry.
Once the pork is cooked, add manganji peppers and carrot, and continue stir-frying.
Add the seasonings marked with ☆, cover the pan, and simmer on low heat for 7–8 minutes.
Add soy sauce and simmer for an additional 2 minutes. Stir in the potato starch mixture to thicken the sauce, then serve.
