Meat
- 🐖 100g sliced pork
Vegetables
- 🥕 1/4 carrot (60g), sliced
- 3cm daikon (100g), sliced
- 🧅 1/3 scallion, sliced
Other
- 1/2 sheet fried tofu, sliced
- 1/3 tsp Japanese dashi granules
- 💧 400cc water
- 2 tbsp miso paste
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
Seasoning for Meat
- 🧂 1 pinch salt
- 🌱 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp potato starch
ÉTAPES
Place sliced pork in a bowl, add salt, grated ginger, and potato starch. Knead well and form into bite-sized meatballs.
Slice carrot into half-moons, daikon into quarter-moons, scallion into rings, and fried tofu into thin strips.
Heat sesame oil in a pot over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides.
Add dashi granules and water to the pot. Bring to a light boil, skim off any foam, then add carrot, daikon, and fried tofu. Cover and simmer on low heat for 7–8 minutes.
Dissolve miso paste into the soup, add scallions, and stir briefly before serving.
