Place pork and ginger in a microwave-safe container, add enough water to cover the pork, loosely cover with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 5 minutes. Rinse under running water and drain.

Loosely cover with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 3 minutes. Flip the pork, cover again, and microwave for another 3 minutes. Let it cool with the wrap on.
