- 6 myoga
- 6 okra
Meat
- 6 slices pork belly
Staple
- 1 tbsp potato starch
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
Seasoning
- 1 tsp ume paste
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp sake
- to taste pepper
ÉTAPES
Cut the myoga in half lengthwise. Rub okra with a small amount of salt to remove fuzz, blanch briefly in boiling water, drain, and cut off the stems. Slice the okra lengthwise.
Combine the myoga and okra, wrap them with pork belly slices, and coat the rolls evenly with potato starch.
Mix the seasoning ingredients (ume paste, soy sauce, mirin, sake, and pepper) together.
Heat sesame oil in a frying pan, place the rolls seam-side down, and cook until browned. Rotate the rolls to cook evenly. Add the mixed seasoning and coat the rolls thoroughly. Slice in half and serve.
