INGRÉDIENTS
Bread
- 🍞 1 slice of bread
Vegetable
- 🧅 2 new onions (300g)
Meat
- 🥓 4 slices of bacon
Dairy
- 🧈 20g salted butter
- 🧀 30g pizza cheese
Herbs
- 🌿 Chopped parsley, as needed
Seasoning
- 400cc water
- 1/2 tsp consomme
- 🧂 A pinch of salt
ÉTAPES
Cut the new onions in half vertically and slice thinly. Cut the bread into 6 pieces and toast until golden and crispy.
Slice the bacon into thin strips.
Heat butter in a pot, then add onions and bacon. Sauté on low heat for about 3 minutes.
Add water, consomme, and salt. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low heat for 5–6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Transfer the soup to a heatproof dish, place the toasted bread on top, and sprinkle with pizza cheese. Bake in a toaster oven for 5–10 minutes until the cheese melts and turns golden. Garnish with parsley.
