Cut the boiled octopus into halves and skewer them with bamboo sticks.

Place the daikon in a pot, add enough water to cover them, and heat over medium heat. Once boiling, reduce to medium-low heat and simmer for about 5 minutes. Drain the water.

Add the daikon, ☆ seasonings, and octopus to the pot. Heat over medium heat until boiling, then cover and simmer on low heat for 15–20 minutes.
