INGRÉDIENTS
Main
- 🐙 150g boiled octopus
- 🥔 1 potato (150g), peeled and chopped
- Enough salad oil for frying
- 🍋 2 wedges of lemon
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧄 1/3 tsp grated garlic
Batter
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp potato starch
- 1 tsp curry powder
- 🧀 1 tbsp grated cheese
ÉTAPES
Cut the boiled octopus into bite-sized pieces, place them in a plastic bag, add sake and grated garlic, massage well, and lightly pat dry.
Peel and chop the potato into bite-sized pieces, soak in water briefly, then drain well.
In another plastic bag, combine the batter ingredients (flour, potato starch, curry powder, and grated cheese). Add the octopus and potato, seal the bag with air inside, and shake to coat evenly.
Heat about 1cm of salad oil in a frying pan to 170°C. Fry the coated octopus and potato for 3–5 minutes until golden brown.
Serve on a plate and garnish with lemon wedges.
