- 1/2 sheet fried tofu (10g)
- 8 okra pods (100g)
Seasonings
- 🧂 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp Japanese dashi powder
- 💧 100 ml water
ÉTAPES
Rub okra with 1/3 tsp salt (not listed in ingredients) on a cutting board. Wash with water and pat dry. Trim the stem ends and remove the calyx.
Place fried tofu between paper towels and lightly press to remove excess oil. Cut in half horizontally, then slice into 1 cm wide strips.
In a microwave-safe container, mix all seasonings (☆). Add okra and fried tofu, mix to coat evenly. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave at 600W for 2 minutes.
Remove from microwave, stir, and cover again. Let it cool to room temperature to allow flavors to meld.
