ÉTAPES
Thinly slice the onion and cut the cabbage into wedges, leaving the core intact.
Cut the bacon into bite-sized pieces.
Heat butter in a pot over medium heat and sauté the onion until softened.
Add water, consomme, salt, bacon, and cabbage to the pot. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.
Transfer the soup to an oven-safe dish, place baguette slices and pizza cheese on top, and bake in a toaster oven for 5 minutes until the cheese melts.
