INGRÉDIENTS
Filling
- 200g fish cake (2 sheets)
- 🧅 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp red pickled ginger, minced
- 1/2 tbsp sake
- 🧂 Pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 2 tbsp potato starch
For Frying
- Enough salad oil for frying
ÉTAPES
Chop the onion into coarse pieces. Place it in a microwave-safe container, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and heat at 600W for about 1 minute. Drain excess water and let it cool. Mince the red pickled ginger.
Place the fish cake in a plastic bag and mash until smooth. Add the remaining filling ingredients and knead thoroughly. Divide into 8 portions and shape into oval patties.
Heat salad oil in a pot to 170°C (about 3cm deep). Fry the patties, turning occasionally, until golden brown (about 4–5 minutes).
