INGRÉDIENTS
Meat
- 8 slices thinly sliced pork belly
Vegetables
- 🧅 1 onion, cut into wedges
- 🧅 1 tbsp chopped green onion
Seasoning
- 🧂 A pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp sake
Cooking Oil
- 1 tbsp salad oil
ÉTAPES
Cut the onion into wedges after removing the core.
Lay a slice of pork belly flat, season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with flour, and wrap it around an onion wedge. Repeat for all pieces.
Heat salad oil in a frying pan, place the rolls seam-side down, and cook over medium heat until browned. Add 1 tbsp water, cover, and cook on low heat for 5–7 minutes.
Add the sauce ingredients (soy sauce, sugar, sake, ginger) and mix while simmering to coat the rolls.
Serve on a plate and sprinkle with chopped green onion.
