INGRÉDIENTS
Base
- 🍚 2 bowls cooked rice (400g)
Protein
- 🍖 200g thick-cut pork loin
- 🥚 1/2 beaten egg
Vegetables
- 1/4 yellow bell pepper
- 🥬 1/2 pack bok choy
Seasoning
- 1.5 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp salad oil
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sake
- 🧂 Pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp curry powder
- 🍬 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp chicken stock powder
- 💧 150ml water
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 💧 2 tsp water
ÉTAPES
Cut bok choy into quarters and yellow bell pepper into bite-sized pieces. Mix the sauce ingredients in a bowl.
Trim the pork loin and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Marinate pork in sake, soy sauce, salt, and curry powder. Add beaten egg and cornstarch, and massage into the meat.
Heat 1 tbsp salad oil in a pan over medium heat. Cook pork until fully cooked and set aside.
Add remaining salad oil to the pan and stir-fry bok choy and yellow bell pepper briefly.
Add the sauce mixture to the pan, cover, and simmer on low heat for 3–4 minutes. Stir in cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce, then return pork to the pan.
Drizzle sesame oil over the dish. Serve over warm rice.
