Fish
- 🐟 2 fillets (about 260g) flounder
Vegetables
- 1/4 pack kaiware sprouts
Seasoning
- 🧂 A pinch of salt and pepper
Flour
- 🌾 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
Butter
- 🧈 20g salted butter
Toppings
- Sufficient amount of shredded nori
Sauce
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 🍬 1/3 tsp sugar
- 🧂 2 tsp soy sauce
ÉTAPES
Cut the roots off the kaiware sprouts and divide them into two portions. Pat the flounder fillets dry, season with salt and pepper, and coat with flour.
Heat butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Once melted, place the flounder skin-side down and cook until golden brown. Flip the fillets, cover with a lid, and cook on low heat for about 4 minutes until fully cooked.
Remove the lid and add the sauce ingredients (sake, mirin, sugar, soy sauce). Stir to coat the fillets evenly. Serve on a plate, topped with kaiware sprouts and shredded nori.
