    • 🌿 100g chives, cut into 4cm pieces
    • 🌱 200g bean sprouts

    • 750g tonkotsu soy sauce soup base
  • Seasoning

    • 4 tbsp sesame oil
    • 1 piece ginger, minced
    • 🧄 1 clove garlic, minced

Chop the cabbage into bite-sized pieces. Cut the chives into 4cm lengths. Mince the ginger and garlic.

Cut the pork belly slices in half.

Add the soup base to a pot and bring to a boil over medium heat. Add the pork and skim off any foam. Then add the cabbage and bean sprouts, cooking until tender.

In a small frying pan, heat sesame oil over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until golden (making aromatic sesame oil).

Top the hot pot with chives and drizzle the aromatic sesame oil over it.
