INGRÉDIENTS
Shumai Wrapping
- 24 shumai wrappers
Vegetables
- 🥬 2 cabbage leaves (160g)
- 🧅 1/2 onion, minced
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp sake
- 🧂 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
Filling
- 🐖 200g ground pork
- 1 hanpen (100g)
Dipping Sauce
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 🧂 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp mustard
ÉTAPES
Mince the onion. In a bowl, mix all the filling ingredients (☆) thoroughly. Divide into 24 equal portions and shape into balls.
Cut the shumai wrappers into thin strips. Coat each filling ball evenly with the wrapper strips.
Place cabbage leaves on a microwave-safe plate. Arrange the shumai on top, drizzle with sake, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave at 600W for 6–8 minutes.
Serve the shumai on a bed of cabbage and accompany with the dipping sauce made from vinegar, soy sauce, and mustard.
